Helth care on the decline

Has anyone felt that the care is on decline and the prices keep going up at stagering rates.Instead of care and compassion your just a number now.

I have been dealing with a heart condition for25 years and the straw that broke the camels back was being told while I was a patient in the hospital that I could not take my own daily meds that were already paid for that I had to take pills from the hospital pharmacy and pay 4 times the price that I paid from an outside pharmacy.While in my hospital bed I was arguing with hospital staff that got me so angry I had to take nitro for angina.

Example: Plavix cost aprox. $5.00 a pill the hospital charged me $22.00 a pill I got a bill of over $400.00 for less then two days in the hospital.

This is just one example of many.I have to change doctor and hospital because this scares me.Does anyone else feel this way?
