In early 2002, I underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery. In mid 2004, I decided to stop using prescription drugs after doing a lot of reading and research about heart health.
In early 2006, I dumped my last bottle of drugs, the beta blocker, have been using natural supplements, getting sun, exercising and generally trying to lead a wholesome life ever since (and falling off the wagon once in a while).
Six months after the surgery, I felt better than I remembered feeling in the previous 5 years or so. But now, 7+1/2 years after the surgery, 4+ years of no statins, no nitrates, no blood pressure/beta blocker drug, I am feeling even better.
Seeing all the drug commercials on TV makes my blood boil – I could get a heart attack from those. The drug pushers, with the help of the FDA, have managed to brainwash the public to the point where statins are being prescribed to children and anti-depressants to pets.
Too many people are using too many drugs; I think that is very bad.
Whether you agree with me or not, you may want to read the whole true story of how I have been dealing with my heart problems since they first appeared. I update the story every time something significant happens. It is all here:
