I underwent angioplasty last year. My treament includes beta blockers 25mg of attenolol daily. Since I am feeling uncomfortable while taking this medicine, I dont take it regulary  and skip the medicine during weekends and some times take half of the tablet. I have observed tiredness after continuous excersing for three four days, feeling lethargic and short memory losses. After avoiding this medicine I feel very comfortable and energetic. Since I didn't have high preasure before the angioplasty, is it harmfull to stop taking this medicine without the advice of the doctor. Doctors always say to take the medicines.

Thank for your comments. I have no idea about maintaining heart rate and the heart pressure. I think I should get the doctors advice regarding this and should try to maintain a healthy heart rate and pressure. Do you know from where I can get this information from the web.
