Guess I typed all the last comment will take. LOL. I was given a death date of October 19th, 2006 and on September 19th, I was picked one of six to try this optimization of a CRT-D. Only 20% of the device was working as they came from the factory with an inbot setting., this optimization was done on four computers. Yes, I had a ICD for fourteen months before it was removed and replaced with the CRT-D St. Jude Device. Will give you a brief run down on history of this. I was on a Heart Transplant Work up when my Doctor told me he has something I may be interested in, would have to get into research. I go to the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans.

Hi Diane, I have the same heart problem as you. A virsus settled in my Heart and damaged the lower part of it. I live in Gonzales, Louisiana. A small City between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I am 71 years old and have four children and twelve Grandchildren of which I adore and spend all my time with. I was on a heart transplant list until I ended up on a CRT-D that not only saved my life but, gave my life back to me. Its amazing what I now can do.
