EECP, seems to have helped with raising the EF......not as much as I was expecting but apparently more than my cardiologist expected. Unfortunately, my total cholesterol was elevated to 227, with a ratio (not good at all) of 4.1.

- Had stent put in 98% closed LAD, Sept.1996. Still open and functioning. After 14yrs. my EF has dropped to a little above 40%, so am in my 26th.day of ECP Therapy (Elternal Counter Pulsation) to help my heart muscle create some "Collateral Blood Sources". At end of my 2nd.week of therapy, I felt more "Bright-Eyed/Bushy-Tailed" as they use to say in Navy Boot Camp. I also survived prostate cancer in early 2001. So far, so good....in total remission and no detectable PSA.
