When I transferred to a GUCH specialist she soon got the ball rolling. It turned out for the past 17 years i have been treated at a hospital that doesnt deal with congentital heart defects. It took me 8 years from when my symptoms started to show themselves to get to a GUCH specialist. it was a relief in some ways to be told that there was something wrong and not just in my head lol. I was beginning to think I was going bonkers!
