- I was diagnosed with CAD in Sept, 2008. I also have unstable angina and uncontrollable HBP. I had two LAD stents implanted in Sept, 2008 and two drug-eluting stents implanted LAD in December 2008. I inherited multiple risk factors from my father who suffered for years with heart problems and passed from CHF, and was also Type 2 Diabetic. I also had lifestyle factors, the majority of which I've been able to change.I have a brother (56 yo) who is on BP medication and a diabetic. My sister (62 yo) who is in excellent health.

- I am technically retired, but still work approximately 20-25 hrs. per week in retail.

- People who can help educate me along the research curve and provide support as needed.

- I have 3 cats, Martameghan aka MsSatan, Sissy and her daughter Phoebe. I love working crossword puzzles and like outdoor activities when weather permits.
